Vintage Wood Carved Anri Cork Set

Item Details

A whimsical figural wood carved corks in a picket fence style holder from the 1940’s and 1950’s from Italian designer Anri. This lot features three carved figural busts including a well dressed man with spectacles ‘the respectable drinker’, another and older lady ‘for medicinal reasons’, and finally the ‘inebriated gentleman’. Each is hand painted with great detail. Marked with paper tag to base.

Condition

- to fair, wood has darkened with age. Piece could use a gentle clean. Small nicks to the fence. Some paint loss.
