Item Details

A 1972 BMW R60/5 motorcycle, black, VIN 2940761. Manufactured in November, 1971, the motorcycle is equipped with a 600cc air-cooled OHV opposed flat-twin boxer engine capable of producing 46hp at 6600rpm for a top speed of 102mph. It was built with a 4-speed transmission, electric and kick starters, and a toaster tank. The total weight of the bike is approximately 450 pounds. The odometer reads 33039. Hard-case saddlebags are included and are mounted. Upon receipt for consignment, the motorcycle started on the first attempt.

Condition

- there are some areas of paint scratches and chips at edges. A thorough detailing would make this bike sparkle. There do not appear to be any condition problems that can not be attributed to age.
