A 1943 second edition, unabridged printing of ’Webster’s New International Dictionary of the English Language,’ edited by William Allan Neilson (among others) and published in Springfield, Massachusetts by G. & C. Merriam Company. Handsomely bound in full gold colored cloth with gilt titled spine, marbled text block, encased by a text-laden dust wrapper. Dictionary replete with 600,000 entries, 12,000 of which are illustrated, with a section of full color plates at beginning of books.

Condition
