Vintage Lord's Prayer Steel Engraving

A wonderfully intricately designed vintage Lord’s Prayer steel engraving. The piece features in the center an oval composed of the words to the Lord’s Prayer in a fascinating array of type fonts, and with lovely illustrative motifs. The bowed head of Jesus in is a medallion in the middle. Surrounding the Prayer are beautifully drawn calligraphic birds with graceful scrolls and swirls, in black with gilt detailing and pale blue and russet. The piece is finished under glass with a fluted white-painted wooden frame.

good to fair with yellowing to paper, wear to frame, minor damage
