Stunning Chinese Cloisonne Depiction of Warrior Guan Yu

A stunning depiction of the General Guan Yu in elaborate Chinese cloisonne. This figure shows Guan Yu standing with part ceremonial garb and part warrior armor, and holding his traditional green dragon crescent blade, that resembles a glaive style weapon. He is worshipped for his fierce loyalty and righteousness. A strongly featured cast resin face has been hand painted and blushed red, again a symbol for his loyalty. He wears and elaborate goldtone metal headdress with cowl and features dragons to the crest. His green and blue robes again features a fierce dragon signify his strength and power. He is mounted to a dark lacquered wood stand.
