Death Race Arcade Game

Item Details

A Death Race arcade game by Exidy. The game was made in 1975, one of only 500 produced, styled after the cult movie ‘Death Race 2000’. The game has a black case with an illustration to the top of two skeletons racing and a race scene around the game screen. The game was controversial and consists of two cars trying to run over figures; once ‘hit,’ the figures turn into gravestone obstacles. It is a two player game and each player has a steering wheel, gas pedal and reverse/forward knob. There are speakers and coin slot to the illustrated base that depicts a graveyard.
