A ‘New Bedford. The View Across to Fairhaven from Centre Street in 1884’ print by John Stobart (Florida and Massachusetts, b. 1929). A signed and limited offset lithograph print depicts a view across the Acushnet River after a heavy snowfall. The brig Isabella is arriving and the bark Cicero sits at an inner berth. Edition 188/950, pencil signed ‘Stobart’ on lower right. Print is published by Maritime Heritage Prints, Inc., print copyright 1990 and is now considered rare. Art is framed in a bronze tone wood frame with a cream and blue mat.
