Original Gilda Horn Oil "Cow" Painting

A Gilda Horn original oil painting depicting cows in a field. The artist has signed the piece in the lower right corner. It is painted on a 5′ × 7′ canvas panel. This vibrant and colorful Impressionistic painting is small in scale, but speaks volumes with its portrayal of the blissful life of cows. The gilded wood frame is a shadow box style and is detailed with scroll ornamentation. Educated at Miami University (Oxford, OH) this Cincinnati-based artist, portrait painter and teacher is a Signature member of the Cincinnati Art Club. Her work is found in distinguished art galleries in the Cincinnati area, as well her own Essex Studios.
