A Dobbs 5th Avenue salesman sample tin hat box with a red plastic Stetson hat. The tin and hat were used to show off the Dobbs 5th Avenue wares to prospective buyers. The tin is a replica of the Dobbs’ hat boxes used to store hats. The outside is decorated with a turn-of-the-century street scene, and the brown lid is domed with a belted strap to the center, along with the Dobbs logo.
