Two Starling Designs Intaglios. These beautiful contemporary pieces are inspired by the intaglios of the 17th and 18th centuries. These pieces with the explanations, ‘Venus with his lover and the child of Mars’ and ‘The combat between Idas and Apollo’. These poured intaglios are lined in gold and mounted to light tan linen background, presented under glass in shadow box styling setting with gilt wood frame featuring carved corners. An information sheet titled ‘History of Intaglios’ is attached to the verso.
