Rookwood Pottery Blue Ship Tea Set
Item Details
A six-piece Rookwood Pottery Blue Ship tea set, circa 1925, with two teacups, two saucers, a lidded honey jar and lidded sugar bowl. The set is in a matte ivory glaze with blue sailing ships and wave pattern to the base of the cups, jar and bowl, and to the perimeter of the saucer. The cups, jar and bowl have a paneled design, with the lids having a flat form with short cylindrical finials. The cups are marked with the Rookwood Pottery reverse R logo and M-10, the saucers with M-9, the honey pot with M-23 and the sugar bowl with M-19.
