Weller Pottery Bonito Vase
Item Details
A beautiful Weller Pottery ‘Bonito’ vase, circa 1927-1936, painted by Naomi Truitt Walch. The ivory crackle matte vase has a flared top with brown ‘lacings’ over yellow and green to the rim edge, with scrolled side handles and blue and brown rings to the round base, and the interior is in a green glaze. Both the front and back are decorated with graceful flower sprays, in shades of pink, blue and orange, with green and brown foliate. The vase is marked ‘Weller’ and ‘N’ to the verso.
Condition
no chips or cracks, crackle glaze inherent in design
