A vivid framed watercolor ‘Mountain Pine’ signed by artist John H. Behling and dated July 1998. A mountain landscape expressively rendered, such that the verticality of the pines, the easy swoop of the mountains, the bright, saturated yellow-greens, greens, and blues, the fluidity of the watercolor wash, and the occasional dappled and speckled rendering technique all serve to evoke a mood that is refreshing, enlivening and free. Indeed, this work comes from Behling’s series titled ‘Paintings of Bright Optimism.’ Art is mounted simply in thin silver frame with wide white mat inset.

Condition

Art needs to be reset in mat.
