A group of three vintage fairy-tale books for children, wonderfully illustrated. Includes ’Odham’s Treasury of Eastern Tales,’ Odhams Press, Ltd., London 1958, 155 pages. This title was illustrated by Cremonini, and constitutes the 1960 English translation of Fratelli Fabbri Editori, Milan. ‘Tales from Russia’ by Shirley Goulden, illustrated by Benvenuti, 1961 Fratelli, Fabbri Editori for W. H. Allen Publishers, London, 59 pages. This work is in the ‘Super Splendour Book Series.’ Finally, ‘Japanese Fairy Tales,’ which is A Giant Golden Book. It was translated by Mildred Marmur and illustrated by Benvenuti by Golden Press, New York, 66 pages. Copyright 1960 Fabbri Milan, printed in Italy.

Condition
The Odham’s book has edge wear to spine and boards. “Tales from Russia” has about an inch missing from both top and bottom of spine, and many of the page corners are bent. The clear plastic dust jacket has been repaired with tape. “Japanese Fairy Tales” has name written in ink on front end paper.
