Assorted Antique Sterling Tongs and Flatware
Item Details
An interesting assortment of small sterling pieces. Includes a Victoria Taxco Mexican art-deco spoon rest, a pair of F. Co. sterling sugar tongs with art nouveau design elements, with repousse vining decoration and claw-shaped feet. Other items include a Webster curled spoon, a pair of unmarked tongs with etched branch and leaf decoration and spoon ends, and a sardine server with a patent date of 1904, also with art nouveau design elements. There is a Towle ‘Chippendale’ spoon and fork, a simple Webster small spoon, an International Silver ‘Prelude’ demitasse spoon, and rounding out the lot is a Webster lemon fork.
Condition
Pieces show signs of wear consistent with age and use, including tarnishing and some surface scratches. Total weight is troy ounces.
