Pair of Brilliant Cut Glass Compotes and Candy Dish
An extremely elegant pair of antique cut glass compotes and a candy dish of a similar pattern, from the Brilliant Period of American glassmaking, c. 1885-1910. Compote bowls feature scalloped, sawtooth edges, and a hobstar and fan pattern. The long stem has faceted oval cuts on four sides along the entire length, terminating in a circular foot with starburst pattern to underside. The candy dish also features a cut star and fan pattern.
Candy dish has a few chips on raised edges or highpoints of fan cut, and a few bubbles inside smooth glass portion.
