Original David Levitan Phase I The Transcendentalist's Conception
Item Details
An original Acrylic on masonite painting by well known psychedelic surrealist Daved Levitan. The artist is most well known for his album art, namely for French recording artist Jean-Luc Ponty (born 29 September 1942) virtuoso violinist and jazz composer. This incredible painting is part of a triptych entitled ‘The Creative Process Triptych,’ and is the third panel entitled ‘Phase II – The Artisan’s Preparation.’ The painting is signed, dated, and titled to the verso 1978. The artist has composed an absolutely phenomenal image that’s indeed very true to its title. A pair of figures gather the necessary faculties, materials, and emotional strength needed to be fully vested in a committed artistic effort. The painting is composed on a circular surface with hanger to back.
