A gorgeous mid-19th century Victorian Renaissance Revival solid walnut drop-center, marble-top dresser featuring a beautiful curved top mirror. The top of the dresser has an elaborately carved half curved top with cutouts and medallions on either side leading to curved sides with burl walnut applied decorations. Continuing down the sides are more curves and burl walnut decorative pieces. Mid-center on the mirror sides are a pair of candle stands, once used for holding the oil lamps. This fabulous dresser top sits on a drop center dresser adorn with gray and white marble. There is a small raised drawer on either side followed by two large, full length spacious drawers. Each drawer is adorn with burl walnut panels and tear drop ebony handles. All the drawers are locking, the hardware is brass and the dresser sets on casters. This is a truly wonderful antique dresser. This piece has been loving cared for and in this family for many, many years. A fantastic piece.
