Renaissance Revival Style Sofa Circa 1930s

Item Details

A wonderful Rococo Revival sofa with scrolled and carved woodwork. The top features scrolled and routed wood edges with an ornate shell carving to center. Upholstered with a beautiful tapestry style fabric with a rich tan field and taupe, evergreen, turquoise, burgundy, and violet accents, with piping to edges of cushions. Arms are flared with wood carved and routed edges. Base is wonderfully framed with turned spindle stretchers and fluted paw feet.

Condition

Good overall. Upholstery is in good condition, dings and scratches to wood consistent with age and use. Best to preview for own assessment.
