Produced by Winterthur in the mid to late 20th century, this vintage armchair reflects traditional Chippendale styling crafted from mahogany. It features an openwork, pierced back splat with carved accents below a shaped crest rail and is flanked by gracefully curving armrests with scrolled knuckles. The seat is upholstered in a red and cream geometric lattice fabric above a contoured apron with central carving. The frame is supported by front cabriole legs terminating in ball-and-claw feet and includes a maker’s mark.
