Mid Century Ceramic Ovoid Vase with Abstract Design
A large earthenware mid-century studio pottery vase. Vase has an unevenly applied neck, which is green, in contrast to the off-white semi-gloss glaze of the body of the vase, which is flecked with blue and has a rough texture. The collar of the vase has a serrated brown pattern, and there are two abstract fields on either side in a vaguely fish-scale or hanging grape pattern. Interior of vase is green. Bottom was covered with green felt and some residue remains. There is a circular maker’s mark stamped along bottom edge.
There is still some green felt residue to bottom.
Base is 4.25" in diameter.
