This Victorian Rococo Revival chaise lounge is crafted from a mahogany-stained walnut frame featuring characteristic finger-molding and foliate carvings. The asymmetrical silhouette is anchored by a high rolled arm that transitions into a serpentine backrail topped with a central carved crest. The seat and back are upholstered in a patterned gold velvet damask, finished with coordinating gimp trim and supported by four robustly turned ring-molded legs. While structurally intact, the textile displays significant surface wear, scattered staining, and loss of pile, typical of late 19th-century domestic furniture.
