Vintage Century "Chin Hua" Maple Dining Room Table and Chairs

A vintage Century Furniture dining room table from their ‘Chin Hua’ line, designed by Raymond Sobota in 1967. This ‘Asian-Modern’ grouping includes a spectacular dining room table, 10 side chairs, and 2 armchairs. The table is made of an ebonized maple, with a gorgeous central burl inlay providing contrast. Beveled edges along top, squared, solid legs, and curved corner apron details are the hallmarks of the fine craftsmanship that went into this Ming-inspired line. The chairs feature double-oxbow backs, each having an incised medallion to upper portion. Raised seat cushions are upholstered in an ivory color fabric with pale blue repetitive pattern. Condition
Light wear to finish, particularly at legs. Upholstery on seat cushions have numerous stains.
Dimensions
Each table leaf adds 18" to 76" length. Side chairs are 19" wide, 40" tall, and 17.5" deep, with a seat height of 19". Armchairs are 22.5" wide, 40" tall, and 19" deep. Arm height is 24.5" and seat height (to top of cushion) is 19".
