An original carved and painted panel by listed artist Maritza Morgan (1921-1997) titled ‘Tower of Babel’. The narrow panel is hand-carved and painted with a vivid scene of the Tower of Babel engulfed in flames as figures struggle with a sense of urgency and despair. Signed to lower right-hand corner. The panel is framed in a wood frame with ribbed accents to sides and upholstery nails. The frame has nice gold tone accents.
