Steuben Glass Peacock Crystal Centerpiece
Item Details
A gorgeous Steuben Glass Works crystal peacock centerpiece, catalog number 8532. Created in 1986 and designed by Bernard X. Wolff, this stunning piece exemplifies the beauty and quality the famed Corning, New York art glass maker provided its many collectors from its founding in 1903 to its closing in late 2011. The body of this magnificent bird sparkles with controlled bubbles, and the glory of its plumage is suggested in the sweeping arc of clear crystal behind. Etched ‘Steuben’ to underside. Includes black and white photo announcement card from Steuben.
Condition
There are a few scratches to underside base of bird’s body. A tiny rough patch can be felt along top edge of plumage, and there is a miniscule white speck in comb on bird’s head (please see photos).
