Very Rare 19th C. Scottish Agate Ware Pottery Piggy Banks
Item Details
A pair of very rare and avidly collected 19th century Scottish Agate Ware pottery piggy banks in brown and beige glaze. The larger of the two banks is slip glazed to the tops of his feet while the smaller bank is half glazed. Both adorable porcine banks have pierced eyes, long snouts and wide coin slots at the ridge of their backs.
Condition
,to fair condition considering the age of each. The larger bank has small chips at the nose, ear and coin slot. The small pig has colored in chips at the ears and nose.

, the measurements refer to the larger pig. The smaller pig is 2.5" tall.
