A Napoleon III allegorical clock., with a case is by master sculptor Philippe H. Mourey, featuring a central female figure symbolizing Summer or Harvest. It features three "Sèvres-style" porcelain panels on a dark blue/black ground: a central scene of playful putti and two flanking floral sprays. The dial is hand-painted with a floral wreath. The movement is an 8-day mechanical strike by Japy Frères, stamped with the "Médaille d’Honneur" trademark.
