A substantial Japanese style three-stack modular Isho tansu clothing chest. Designed for versatile placement, the chest separates horizontally into three stacked wooden storage cabinets. The configuration comprises multiple short and long storage drawers, sliding panel cupboard doors, and a decorative barred ventilation frame. A localized, heavy iron-plated safe door opens to reveal specialized interior mini-drawers intended for small valuables. The exterior face is highly embellished with traditional style black iron metalwork, including perimeter protective corner brackets, flat plate strap hinges, classic warabite drawer pulls, and massive side-mounted drop handles designed to facilitate lifting and transport.
