Vintage Silver Tone Champagne Drink Mixer Pendant
Item Details
A vintage silver tone champagne drink mixer pendant, circa 1920s-1950s. During this period, the makeup women wore was rather cake-like, causing a lady drinking a glass of bubbly champagne to be left with splash marks on her face. To prevent bubble splashes, women would use a mixer to flatten the carbonation in their beverages, to keep their perfect face at a party. The thin wave incised tube has a ring that can be pulled down to reveal six prongs and a central ball. The pendant has a round bale with an illegible marking.

- areas of tarnish and the central ball is loose/has metal loss.
