A shoebox neatly containing literally dozens of vintage travel postcards, mainly from the 1930-40s when postage was just one cent. Favorites are the old Florida postcards, the packages of scenic views from Niagra Falls and Northern Michigan and the postcards from the Chicago World’s Fair. Hours of enjoyment you’ll spend perusing this very generous assortment. A favorite inscription on one of the cards from Florida states ‘Come on down the water is fine. The only clothing you will need is a diaper and safety pins.’
