This late 20th-century Chinoiserie cabinet by Drexel Heritage is masterfully crafted with a carved faux-bamboo structural framework. The two front doors showcase hand-painted Orientalist landscape scenes depicting pagodas and weeping willow trees over a highly figured blond wood field, flanked by geometric openwork lattice borders and outfitted with antiqued brass ring hardware. Opening to a spacious, clean interior with an adjustable storage shelf, this beautifully preserved 32.5-inch commode retains its original factory paper label and stamps on the reverse, offering a glamorous anchor for Hollywood Regency, Boho Chic, or eclectic interiors.
