This pair of George Smith library chairs is upholstered in a rich, dark brown leather featuring deep diamond button tufting along the backs and interior arms. The classic club chair silhouette is accented by rolled arms and a meticulous border of brass-toned nailhead trim. Each chair includes a loose, plush seat cushion and is supported by turned mahogany-finished front legs on brass casters, with slightly splayed tapered legs to the rear. Hand-built in Newcastle, England, these chairs represent traditional British craftsmanship and retain the original manufacturer’s plaque on the underside.
