Part of the Castle Bromwich collection by Theodore Alexander, this sideboard is a fine example of William & Mary revival design. The case is dressed in highly figured burl wood veneers, highlighted by a precision-cut diamond parquetry motif on the doors and top. The design utilizes a breakfront form, offering a central two-door cabinet and two drawers, flanked by signature curved open shelving. A branded brass plaque is present in the interior drawer, and the piece is accompanied by a functional tasseled skeleton key.
