Rookwood Advertising Items for Western Southern, 1915, 1937, 1948

Item Details

A group of five Rookwood items, three small round covered canisters and two ashtrays, all created for the Western Southern Life Insurance Company in Cincinnati. Three lidded canisters are finished in ivory and turquoise matte glazes while the two round Art Deco ash receivers are in a deep blue matte glaze. All pieces are imprinted with the Rookwood flame emblem to the bottom with the dates XLI, XXXVII, XLVIII and XV.

Condition

, to good. There are no chips or cracks. One ivory canister has minor crazing.

, measurements given refer to the small canisters. The ash receivers measure 1" high x 5" in diameter.
