This Queen Anne highboy is constructed of tiger maple, featuring a prominent curly grain throughout. The two-piece design consists of an upper chest with a molded cornice over five graduated long drawers, resting upon a lower stand. The stand features a long drawer over three side-by-side short drawers above a decorative scalloped apron. The piece is supported by four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The drawer fronts are fitted with brass swan-neck bail pulls on circular backplates.
