Fairfield Queen Anne Style Bird Motif Upholstered Armchair
Item Details
This late 20th-century wingback chair by the Fairfield Chair Company is a classic example of American Colonial Revival design. The chair features a graceful camelback silhouette with deep scrolled wings and padded arms. It is upholstered in a traditional multi-color chintz fabric featuring a ‘Bird and Branch’ motif against a chocolate brown ground. The piece is elevated on elegant cabriole front legs terminating in pad feet, finished in a warm cherry stain. Combining mid-century North Carolina craftsmanship with 18th-century proportions, this chair offers a timeless aesthetic for traditional libraries or living spaces.
