Two Rookwood Planters Each in Soft Green High Gloss Glaze
Item Details
Two Rookwood planters, each finished in a soft green high gloss glaze. Both planters are clearly imprinted to the bottom with the Rookwood flame emblem. The rectangular planter is shape #7087, dated LIX (1959) and the simple square planter is shape #6561, dated XLVIII (1948).
Condition
, neither planter has a chip, crack or crazing. The rectangular planter is marked with an “X” indicating it was pulled from the line, most likely due to one small dimple in the glaze at one side.
Dimensions
, the measurements refer to the square planter. The rectangular planter measures 3" high x 12" wide x 4" deep.
