This early 20th century highboy dresser is crafted from quarter-sawn tiger oak, prized for its dramatic medullary ray grain pattern. The chest features a unique upper configuration containing a small drawer alongside a deep cupboard door adorned with a carved foliate motif. Below are four spacious drawers fitted with decorative brass hardware. The piece is surmounted by an adjustable oval mirror held by an intricately carved yoke, all resting on a delicate scalloped base.
