A Rookwood Wall Plaque Signed by Clotilda Zanetta
Item Details
A Rookwood wall plaque in a soft brown ‘wine madder’ high gloss glaze, created for use in a Norwood, OH church by Clotilda Marie Zanetta who was employed by Rookwood in the 1940s. The plaque depicts a friar or priest in robes holding a well for holy water. The back is stamped with the Rookwood flame emblem, the date XLVII and the mold #6875 along with the artist’s initials.
