This highboy dresser by L.A. Period Furniture exemplifies the American Modern aesthetic of the 1950s with its distinctive tiered ‘step-back’ silhouette. The upper section features a gentle bow-front curve and is equipped with four smaller drawer fronts, while the lower section contains three expansive drawers. The piece retains its original decorative hardware, featuring organic leaf-motif pulls on the bottom and minimalist bullet pulls on the top. Finished in a light ‘blonde’ wood veneer, the dresser sits on a matching recessed plinth base. The reverse retains original factory stenciling confirming its provenance as a product of the Los Angeles furniture manufacturing district.
