This two-piece occasional table set includes a rectangular coffee table and a matching taller console or sofa table. Constructed from oak with highly figured oak veneer tops, each piece showcases a geometric parquet starburst pattern within a mitered border. The design is heavily ornamented with Rococo-style shell and foliate carvings along the aprons. Each table is elevated on robust cabriole legs with decorative carvings at the knees, ending in traditional ball-and-claw feet.
