This set of three oak end tables is executed in the Chippendale Style, featuring design elements borrowed from early 18th-century English prototypes. Each table is constructed with a rectangular parquet oak veneer top set within a solid oak frame. The tables are supported by cabriole legs that feature machine-carved acanthus leaves at the knees and terminate in traditional ball-and-claw feet. The aprons are decorated with scalloped edges and central floral/foliate carvings. A quality control sticker on the underside indicates a late 20th-century contemporary manufacture. This set combines classic muscular ornamentation with the functional utility of nesting furniture, presenting a warm, natural wood patina.
