This pair of mahogany-finished cherry nightstands was produced by Lexington Furniture as part of their ‘Vestiges’ collection. Each commode features a three-drawer configuration, with the lower two drawers framed within a recessed panel. The most distinctive architectural elements are the rope-carved or barley-twist pilasters flanking the drawer fronts, which transition into a stepped plinth base resting on bracket feet. The hardware consists of antiqued brass bail pulls and circular floral-motif escutcheons on the top drawer. Stenciled markings on the rear confirm their domestic manufacture in the United States and identify the specific model number 382-621. These pieces exemplify the high-quality, revivalist aesthetic prevalent in premium American furniture manufacturing during the late 20th century.
