This set of three Steelcase 454 Series ‘Stacker’ armchairs represents the functionalist approach to 1990s American office design. Each chair features a robust chrome-plated steel frame with a distinctive sled-base silhouette designed for stability and vertical storage. The armrests are finished with rectangular dark wood caps, providing a material contrast to the industrial metal frame. The seats and backs are upholstered in a grey 100% polypropylene ‘Tacker’ fabric, known for its performance in high-traffic environments. These chairs retain their original manufacturing tags, dating their production specifically to June 1992.
