This assembled decorative set includes a Chinese-inspired storage trunk and a coordinated bamboo basket. The trunk is constructed of elm wood featuring outward-curving barrel sides inset with tightly woven rattan panels. The front panel is embellished with a central, hand-carved floral onlay, while the top lid is similarly inset with rattan. The trunk is equipped with brass-toned metal hardware, including a decorative front latch and circular side drop handles. It stands on small bun feet and includes an internal support chain for the hinged lid. Accompanying the trunk is an open-weave bamboo basket with a rich reddish-brown finish.
