This two-piece step-back hutch is a signature piece from the Ethan Allen by Baumritter collection, manufactured in Vermont. The upper cabinet features two glass-front doors with a decorative scalloped top rail, housing two fixed wooden shelves for display. The lower base unit is highly functional, featuring a single large drawer above a pull-out laminate work surface, a common mid-century convenience. The bottom section offers ample storage behind two louvered cabinet doors, accented by traditional hand-hammered style metal H-hinges. The entire unit is finished in a warm, honey-toned maple stain, characteristic of the Early American revival style that dominated the mid-20th century.
