Mediterranean Revival "Camello" Door Chest, Mid to Late 20th Century

Item Details

This Mediterranean Revival door chest features a robust architectural presence, characteristic of late 1960s design. The upper section is dominated by two doors with intricate, deeply recessed geometric paneling and elongated decorative brass-finished pulls. Opening the doors reveals three organized pull-out trays, providing versatile storage. The lower section contains two full-width drawers with ornate batwing hardware. The piece is elevated on tapered, turned legs, lending a lighter silhouette to the substantial oak frame. Stenciled identification on the rear confirms its model as part of the ‘Camello’ series, making it a classic example of Spanish-influenced mid-century American cabinetry.
