Drexel Federal Style Mahogany Corner Cabinet

Item Details

This Federal Revival corner china cabinet is executed in mahogany veneers and features an elegant bowfront silhouette. The two-part construction includes an upper display section with two glass doors accented by geometric wooden muntins, opening to a mirrored interior with adjustable glass shelving. The lower portion provides functional storage with a single curved drawer above two paneled cabinet doors, all fitted with period-style brass oval backplate pulls. Supported by a simple bracket base, the piece exhibits high-quality mid-20th-century American craftsmanship, including machine-cut joinery and oxidized secondary woods. A stenciled inventory number and manufacturer’s script stamp are present on the reverse and interior, identifying it as a premium mass-produced residential furnishing from the 1940s.
