Queen Anne Style Oak Lowboy, Late 20th Century

Item Details

This contemporary vanity desk is a production of the late 20th-century Queen Anne Revival movement. Constructed from oak with a warm, medium-toned finish, the desk features a serpentine-front top over a three-drawer case. The drawers are outfitted with decorative brass-tone batwing bails, providing a classic formal aesthetic. Defining the piece’s silhouette are four slender cabriole legs that transition into traditional pad feet, supported by an arched kneehole apron. Compact in scale, this piece serves as a functional dressing table or small writing desk for traditional residential interiors.
