Colonial Style Maple Slant-Front Secretary Desk, Late 20th Century

Item Details

This Colonial Revival secretary desk is crafted from solid maple with a warm, amber-toned finish. The upper section features a traditional slant-front lid that opens to reveal an organized interior gallery with multiple document cubbies and a flat writing surface. The lower case is designed with four levels of storage: the top tier presenting a three-panel facade (one functional drawer), followed by two large, full-width drawers. All drawers are fitted with decorative brass batwing hardware and feature machine-cut dovetail joinery for durability. The piece is supported by a scalloped apron and integral bracket feet. This desk represents a clean, functional example of late 20th-century American Colonial Revival furniture, ideal for home offices or study spaces.
